Oatmeal Walnut Chocolate Chip Cookies

I wanted to share a fantastic cookie recipe that is so easy and nutritious...I just shared it with my weekly networking group and they gave it a thumbs up...enjoy!

Oatmeal Walnut Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:

1 C Whole Wheat Pastry Flour

1 ½ C Rolled Oats

¼ Tsp. Sea Salt

1/3 C Expeller/Cold Pressed Canola Oil

½ C Pure Maple Syrup

1 Tsp. Vanilla Extract

1/3 C Dark Chocolate Chips

1/3 C Chopped Walnuts

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.  Combine oats, flour, and salt together in a bowl:  set aside.  In a separate bowl mix together sweetener, oil and vanilla.  Add wet ingredients to dry mixture and mix well.  Stir in nuts and chips.  With moist hands form dough into 3” cookies and place on a lightly oiled cookie sheet or one lined with parchment paper.  Bake for 15-20 minutes, until golden on edges.

Prep time:  20 minutes

Yields:  1 dozen big 3” cookies
